Import from WindowsMail to Thunderbird

Specs: Windows Vista, 2G
I've been trying for weeks to work out how to import from WindowsMail in Vista to Thunderbird in 7.

I've tried using the Thunderbird AddOn recomended by many sites, but that doesn't work.

I've tried it in Vista - no luck.

Is there any way to import my Mail files to Thunderbird?

Can anyone help with instructions.. it'd be much appreciated.

Thanks

Touny

When I installed Thunderbird, it asked If I wanted to import mail or settings. That should be all you need. If you already installed but did not, then go to 'tools' and 'import' that should be all you need. If you still have trouble, I am pretty sure I remember a support link on the Thunderbird site if you need more help with it.

Thanks for the tip.

When I go to Import - nothing happens - it just freezes.

I've tried this on two PCs - no luck.

Treid the Add ons, tried everything - no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks
