Specs: Windows 7
my Mouse/Keyboard stopped working today, they work in BIOS but when windows start the lights go off and it stops working,
.Could it be the drivers, because I bought new wireless Mouse/Keyboard [combo] set and it had a little drivers disk in it, I installed the drivers and after about half an hour both Mouse/Keyboard stopped working can anyone please help, I am able to go into BIOS and safe mode can I do anything there to fix this?

Do you mean that you can now reach the desktop but the mouse and keyboard are not working?

You could tap F8 key during bootup then select Safe Mode from the list.
See if you can get to the desktop (the screen will look rather weird). If so you
could see if there are any errors showing in Device Manager under both Keyboard and Mouse. If so uninstall/delete the drivers from there and reboot (the drivers will return again). If that doesn't help then uninstall mouse and keyboard drivers, either via the Control Panel or the Start orb. If the keyboard and mouse then work you could live that way unless the extra features are important to you.

We all live on the same ball.

If the driver disk was not Windows 7 version (maybe the package was packed many months ago and did not get the latest version). The disk may have installed the Vista drivers which are similar but not the same. Download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website, looking particularly for Windows 7 drivers and your version (32bit or 64bit) if available and install them. You may have to either use a hardwired keyboard and mouse for the download and install, then shut down, switch back and start to the new drivers.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

You are right Fingers... my keyboard/mouse setup was bought for Vista when I installed Win 7 I had to download the W7 drivers.
