Hi kathy67, you will have to give us more info. Does it just open and close immediately? Or are you getting an error message?

Hi,

You can follow the below mentioned steps:

Turn off hardware acceleration by going to Internet options. You can even refer to the article on the URL mentioned: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/252...

Run a IE reset Fix it http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=964...

Try uninstalling and reinstalling IE Use the following FIXIT for uninstalling the same http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=978...
then proceed with downloading an updated version of IE from the windows website:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/...

If the above troubleshooting steps fail, try using another browser like Chrome, safari etc.

PLEASE give the OP a chance to answer a few basic questions and supply enough information before throwing out random fixes. It is better to get a better understanding of the problem so that the first suggestions are targeted to the exact problem, are the simplest, easiest to do, and least likely to go wrong. After a few simpler ones fail to work then you can bring out the more drastic measures. Take it easier. With more information, you may find that a simple disk clean up is all that is needed, followed by some basic maintenance and they are all set.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
