ide hdd 2nd drive detected in BIOS but NOT in

Specs: Windows 7
i have WD sata hdd as master that have window 7 on it and i connected on the IDE hdd to be the slave .

when i turned windows and i go to my pc i do not see the hdd that connected to the IDE slot on the motherboard (P4i65gv) but it is showing on the BIOS when i restarted the computer and did the F2 .

what can i do in order to see it,please advice

SATA and IDE run on different controllers. They do not rely on one another. If the IDE hard drive is not partitioned and formatted it will not appear in Computer. Look for the IDE drive in Windows Disk Management.

Best to jumper the IDE hard drive as master, or if Wdigital, master alone.
