Solved I would like to retrieve the Google Tool bar,

April 29, 2013 at 01:22:18
Specs: Windows 7
I have Bing as the main search engine, but I want it to be Google, this was a little box on the top of my toolbar, which I disabled.

How do I retrieve Google - and I do not know much about computs, but would like to retrieve it before the husband knows it is missing.

Thank you so much.

The categories I chose may be wrong as I do not know very much technical details - thank you.

You are probably mixing up the normal windows search box which can have Google as the default search engine and the Google Tool Bar. On the left side of the search bar there is the name of the search engine that is currently being used, just a bit to the right of that is a down arrow, click on that and you should have Bing, Google, and others as choices. Just select Google and that will then be your new default search engine for that bar. Simple and not stress. I do not recommend the Google Tool Bar because is is known to cause problem and you can do all the searches from Google right from the search bar, but if you had it and want it, it will probably be an add-on that has been disabled and can be enabled (Tools/Add ons).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
