There are four toolbars built in to IE, so which one do you mean?

Menu bar
Favourites bar
Command bar
Status bar

Alt + F does not bring up any toolbars, at least not on IE11
It just expands the "Tools" menu.

Right click in the toolbar area & then click on the ones you want to see. If that's not the problem, try pressing the F11 key

Just Alt alone usually brings up the menu bar temporarily (which I think is what you need). Select it as already given.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hi Phil
I press Alt T and this brings up what I want but it will not keep it there permanently.

As said, you go to near the top of the page and right click. You will then see a selection of items as per response #1. You then put a check mark against the one you want. From what you are saying it sounds as if the one you need to check is the Menu bar.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
