Solved I tried all the suggestions but still having problems

February 21, 2014 at 08:41:04
Specs: Windows 7 Pro
It seems to be in Internet Explorer and everytime I try to go in there it takes forever and then says there is a script error. Might be with Java. I tried deleting and reloading IE to Explorer 11 but still having problem. I tried deleting Java and reloading but still seem to have a script error. I also could not buy the drivers fixes because I don't have a credit card and can't afford to buy one right now. Is there a safe and free driver fix? Thank you.

What driver? Drivers are provided for free by the manufacture you will never have to pay for them.

List your computer specs, make an manufacture and what device you need drivers for and we can help you find them.

As TXH 1138 says; drivers are free.
Sites offering fixes for drivers and heaven knows what else should be avoided and regarded as rogue sites.

Try going into Control Panel/Internet Options. Click the 'Advanced' tab.
Click on; 'Restore Advanced Settings'.
Finish by clicking, 'Apply' then, 'OK'.

Any change?

You can also go back the same route and use the, 'reset' option.

See how it goes. Maybe later; no doubt, someone will advise about running a malware scan and/or browser clean up tool.

For now I would uninstall Java completely. Chances are 99% of the time you may not even need it.I dumped Java over a year back and haven't missed it.
You can reinstall later if need be.

Do you have an alternative browser? Does this work ok?
If not consider installing Firefox and/or Chrome.
(a single browser is never enough these days).

Double posting causes confusion. You should have continued on your original post (one might get removed).

What was the answer to response #1 on your previous thread?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

You still haven't provided any info such as make and model, nor have you posted what the error message said other then having an error. If you want help, you going to have to provide some specs so we can give you the link to the driver page of your computer. And knowing what driver the error message was referring to would be helpful as well.

If you don't know the model number, go to Start, Run, and type in

dxdiag

then click on the Ok button. When it asks if you want to see the signed drivers, say no. The next screen will have all your system information. Post back what it says for the System Model.

If you are getting messages about corrupt drivers, I would be suspicious, run an anti virus scan, also, install & run Malwarebytes

https://www.malwarebytes.org/downlo...

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.

Does the Malwarebytes cost money? I have no credit card. I did run internet explorer security essentials and microsoft malicious software removal. Found nothing.

There are three different listings for an HP 625 computer on their website. Choose the one that matches yours and it will have all the drivers for your device.
