Why do I have to install Adobe Flash Player every time I need to use it. I have checked Malwarebytes and Windows Security Essentials to see if they were causing the problem to no avail. I am using Windows 7 updated to the max. Please help me understand this problem. Thanks much...SrLoren

Flash was working fine for folks upto 11.3..something...and after that users who could watch flash video could not. Uninstalling 11.3 and reverting to 11.2 got the sound back, but then users were continually being told to update and if they did they were back in the no sound loop......Adobe had changed security features which were not compatible with the flash based games on things like Facebook particularly if you were using firefox. Now Adobe has a yet newer version which appears to have resolved the issue. So adobe has had lots on it's plate the last month. Firefox was confused whether to use its built in flash or the standalone download, an issue I believe is resolved. Needless to say this may not be your particular issue but it is a recent issue and it sometimes these things resolve themselves with a new update (that works). 11.4 we'll call it. try firfox not playing flash in a search and firefox explains the known issue.
