You have to install the drivers that are on your motherboard CD.

And if you don't have your motherboard CD, you'll have to search for the drivers online...either at the motherboard manufacturer's website (you'll need to know the model & model number), or if you have a OEM computer (Acer, Dell, HP, etc), you'll need to go to the computer manufacturer's website to find the drivers. Once again, you'll need to know the model & model number. We can't be of much help because you didn't provide any of that info in your post.

✔ Best Answer
You probably need to install a driver for the Ethernet network adapter.
You can download them from your computer maker's website, or the
website of the motherboard or network interface card (NIC). You will
just need to specify the model number of the computer, motherboard,
or NIC. If your Windows is 32-bit, get 32-bit drivers, or if it is 64-bit,
get 64-bit drivers.

If you made changes to your BIOS, such as resetting it to defaults, you
may need to enable the network adapter there before installing a driver.
