i have no picture on my desk top, is there a sequece for me

Specs: Windows 7
my desk top picture is not coming up. have i pushed a button or something acer desktop

If it's a background picture you've put on there yourself (ie not one of the built backgrounds) the picture file itself may be either missing or corrupt. Choose a different background and see if that one stays there.

no its not that, i went away came back it was in sleep mode and then it wouldnt come back after tryn to wake it.
is there something i need to do please. it was working just fine, before i went away

i just can not use the desktop. nufn happening. picture is now just the windows7 down the bottom, and acer up on the top right. it just had everyone logged on but wont let me do nufn, if i push that ctrl alt delete n then it comes up with everyone logged on againit all goes blank again and then ill pushed

Since other threads on the same topic are apparently

unique information, I'll repeat here what I posted in one of

Does the mouse pointer show up and can you move it?
Does the taskbar show up?
Can you open the start menu and select items?


The usual term for a series of posts on one subject all together in
one place is "thread".

Is it possible that Windows Explorer has stopped.

Press CTRL+ALT+ESC then click File then click New Task... type explorer.exe into the box and click run.

If that doesn't work restart your computer.
