I have a .pst problem with Outlook.

September 20, 2010 at 18:12:33
Specs: Windows 7
I can't send or receive emails. I can't even delete old ones. The error notice I get is:

"Errors have been detected in the file C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst. Quit Outlook and all mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox repair tool (Scanspt.exe) to diagnose and repair errors in the file. For more information about the Inbox repair tool, see help."

I am able to grab emails off of my "webmail" from my host, but they are not getting to my Outlook. Any one else having this same problem?

And, did you run Scanspt.exe, to repair the Inbox of Outlook?
And what was the result of it?

I did... twice, and nothing happened. The "repair" tab did nothing.

Hi wisconsinke,

In case your Outlook pst file has corrupted, the first thing you can do is to run the inbox repair tool or scanpst.exe. Repeat the process 3 to 4 times. If it do nothing then you can use the third party tool to ">repair corrupt pst file.
