i have a notepad file and i need only some values from it. the values of my interesr repeat after every 100 values. rest values are of no use to me. how can i get these values

Well, if you can open the file you could use copy/paste or you could just type it fresh into another file.

Sadly, without a little more detail, we can't help you any more than that. Your question is a little vague.

Highlight the parts you want by dragging the mouse over them. Then "Copy".

Close the Window then open NotePad. Use "Paste", edit anything you wish and Save the new file with an appropriate name.

This is an amplication of what you have already been given in #1.

Are you sure you are using Notepad... to my knowledge there is no way you can enter values into Notepad as in Excel?
