i ran this software called bluescreenview. it says this, dump file: 042811-26005-01.dmp . BAD_POOL_HEADER. caused by driver: netio.sys. caused by address netio.sys+15029. is this of any use?

First of all, make sure that your notebook is sitting on a flat surface that does not block ventilation holes from the bottom and sides.

The apps you were running when the crash occurred are important. First check if those apps have come with your PC/notebook and there are updates to those apps on the Toshiba support page for your specific model.

While you are there, also check for updates to BIOS and device drivers.

You may also consider forwarding a warranty application to Toshiba.

If you have installed those apps yourself, then again check program suppliers support page for updates or compatibility of your apps with Win 7 x64 or e-mail them about your problems.

Perform a start up repair from repair disk you should have created or from recovery partition (see manual for instructions), you are not looking to do a full factory restore (last resort) since this will wipe out all of your files, just a start up repair. You also can use a recovery DVD available from the factory. As noted above, you may want to contact warranty support for help with this and probably run a few more tests first.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
