Solved I get the wmsaf.dll error message for some programs

Specs: Windows 7
I have the windows 7 ultimate N operating system and I don't seem to have a wmsaf.dll file because for some of my favorite programs they can't work because I don't have the wmsaf.dll file and the error message comes up when I try to use the program that lacks the file. I recently had a virus on my computer and it wiped my whole system (I wished i had backed it up) so I installed windows 7 ultimate N on there as a new OS. And it does not seem like it has a wmsaf.dll file on there. I have the disc for regular windows 7 to be downloaded again because I had the wmsaf.dll before I had a virus then i put on the new OS and it does not have the wmsaf.dll file. So should I download windows 7 again or can somebody email me a quicker way to get wmsaf.dll on my computer complete with directions on how to do so. thanks!

I think you may have typed it wrong as there is no WMSAF.DLL file by Microsoft, but there is a WMASF.DLL and it's part of an update to Windows Media Rights Management for Windows Media Player.

I've got it on my Windows 7. There are two copies of it two different locations:
One copy in C:\Windows\System 32
Another in C:\Windows\winsxs\ <folder with very long name string>

Use a file search tool.
