I cannot get Google anymore.

Specs: Windows XP
Can't get Google anymore. All I get is 404 Not Found.
I realized the other day I no longer can log into Google. My toolbar is still up but anything with Google I get the message "404 Not Found" I have done checks, virus checks, updates to IE and nothing.

See More: I cannot get Google anymore.

Restart your computer

Try again.

Didn't work. Thanks for trying. I did notice on my programs list that all Google stuff is gone except Google Quick Search Box. Do you think that might have something to do with it?

Uninstall anything Google, including Toolbars and Add-ons. Then run Malwarebytes to make sure you do not have an infection. Finally, download a fresh copy from Google and install.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

That didn't work either. Anytime I try typing in something with Google I get the "404 Not Found".

I had a similar problem couple weeks ago, I finally had to download Kaspersky TDSS killer, and it found the trojan causing my problem. Maleware bytes didn't find it. You will need an unzipping program to open it, like Winrar or any other. Good luck. It found quite a lot of stuff lurking on my computer.
