Specs: Windows 10
I have PC Dell optilex 3010 i bought yesterday so i thought i should format before i use but once i did install windows 7 all the grosses done and when i was selecting drive i was getting the box massage that windows can't install this is not supporting and need to enable disk controller in bios so i have try in bios and now when i go to the page of drive i cant see any drive. After that i try to install windows 10 with Pen drive i was doing and it was taking long time so i went out and when i came back i saw that computer is black screen and it asking again to set up and i try to do again and when i come to the page to select drive and its saying that the partition exist so i have format and still its showing same massage.

If you're not going to use the Dell Restore partition, delete all partitions so you have nothing but unallocated space. Then create a new partition & format. Windows will automatically create a small System Reserved partition.


You can re-partition the HDD after Windows is installed.

Thank You Riider for your reply and I have done that as well and it was install but after finish install now when finish install its showing that alert Hard drive not found so any advise on this or should i change my hard disk.
