How to validate a purchase

Specs: Windows 7
I purchased a renewal of norton 360 today by credit card. I have had an email informing me that the sale has not been validated. It asked for the transaction code NP**** which I sent and I was informed that it was not a valid code.

From whom did you buy the renewal; and who sent you the code?

Ae you sure both were the genuine article, that you dealing with a genuine source/vendor?

Incidentally delete all (preferably) or at least part of that code your post above. Others less scrupulous than you may try to use it... Never wise to post valid email addresses, software keys, or transaction codes etc. in "any" open forum...
