How to transfer files from removable disc to C or D drive?

Specs: Windows 7
My laptop's removable storage (E) file says its completely full whenever I put a game disc in.
Is there some way I could transfer the files into either the C or D drive?

Yes, what kind of files are on the E drive?

Why does it only do it when you insert a game disk?? That is odd.

Hang up and live.

You just showed the world that your Sims is on DVD-RW rerecordable disk rather than a factory made disk. You should at least have burned it onto a DVD-R as a write once disk. It would have been treated as a read only media and your system would not care that it is full. There may be a way to 'Close' the disk, but I am not as familiar with rerecordable DVD's.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

It is the actual factory made disc, I just bought it.
So, what would this mean if it is showing up as RW?
