Is there anything odd in msconfig startup?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

yes a black screen comes up and then I x it out. I did do system restore and its seems to be gone for now, but I did that before and it started all over again.

"yes a black screen comes up

Not sure I'm with you on this. I meant type msconfig in the Run box then hit Enter key. Go to the Startup tab and it will show a list of items that start with Windows. It is there that it might show something odd that is starting up, which maybe you can temporarily uncheck to confirm it is what is causing your popup.

If doing the above caused a black screen then that is very odd.

As you have done System Restore then you might have to wait until the issue arises again (if it does) to check out the above.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If you hold the Windows key down then press the R key the Run box will pop up. You can also just type msconfig.exe in Search and click that when found and go straight to it.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
