Specs: Windows 7
While opening a website, its asking to save a text file. But there is noting to save. When we try to close the page, got this below error message. There are problem starting C:\windows\system32\inetcpl.cpl IE 11 Windows 7 64 bit

Try IE Reset. Go to IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Reset button.

You will lose your add-ons but they soon come back with usage. It might reset your home page to default too. Your Favorites will be retained.

although it specifically applies to earlier IE versions. But you might see if you have one of the updates installed and uninstall it if it's there.
