Can somebody tell me how to schedule a task to run between a certain time like (2 am- 8am) in windows? I want the task to run even after reboot if the time is still in the interval.
Thanx in advance

I know about the task scheduler but I can't seem to get it work the way i need:
I got the program start at the required time and even got it to stop (by using a batch file) when i wanted it to. But the problem here is that if the pc is rebooted, the task wont run again even if the system clock is between the required time interval(say 2 am to 8 am)
As an example, if the computer is switched on at 2 am, the program runs, but when I reboot at 2:30 am the program wont run again(and i want it to run!). Can you explain how to do that?

you want a program to run every time you restart the machine, ?
set the program link into the startup folder.

you want the program to run at a set time each day/week/month?
1.

Open Task Scheduler by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Task Scheduler.‌ Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2.

Click the Action menu, and then click Create Basic Task.
3.

Type a name for the task and an optional description, and then click Next.
4.

Do one of the following:
*

To select a schedule based on the calendar, click Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or One time, click Next; specify the schedule you want to use, and then click Next.
*

To select a schedule based on common recurring events, click When the computer starts or When I log on, and then click Next.
*

To select a schedule based on specific events, click When a specific event is logged, click Next; specify the event log and other information using the drop-down lists, and then click Next.
5.

To schedule a program to start automatically, click Start a program, and then click Next.
6.

Click Browse to find the program you want to start, and then click Next.
7.

Click Finish.

you want the program to run at a certain interval after each reboot?

"you want the program to run at a certain interval after each reboot?"
Exactly, Yes. I thought it was very clear from the example.
Sorry, but I couldn't make myself anymore clear. As I said, i know the basics about the scheduler(fortunately, the new ones are quite user-friendly and self-explanatory), but I appreciate your help, thanx!
Does anyone else know how to do it? 'coz my problem is still not solved...
