Solved how to recover the boot manager on my toshiba laptop

Specs: Windows Vista
I deleted my hard drive and it says my boot manager is missing so it will not let me use the factory disc to reboot my laptop

Did you put the CD/DVD drive ahead of the hard drive in BIOS?

In other words, go into BIOS set up and set the boot order with the DVD drive as first and hard drive as second. That will allow you to boot to the recovery disk.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Someone showed me what was meant by putting the dvd drive ahead of the hard drive in Bios and it is working. Thanks for helping me. This is a great site!!!
