Solved how to reboot my Gateway P5WS5 Laptop

Specs: iPhone
It starts up then it takes me to black screen with Windows Boot Manager with an error message Windows couldn’t boot missing 1 or 2 things. Telling me to insert a disk but I don’t a disk for it. My son gave this laptop to me. He doesn’t know were it is. Can someone please help me ASAP. Thank you!

If this is a Widows 7 machine you can use a Windows 7 Repair Disk to boot off and do the repair. Since you probably do not have it you can make one from another Windows 7 machine as long as both machines are either 32bit or both 64bit. You will need to do a Start Up Repair which is one of the option on the repair disk. The tool for creating the Repair Disk is in the Windows Back up configuration page.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
