Reboot simply means to "shut down and start up again", so you either mean a "Factory Restore" or to "Re-install Windows".

What you need to do depends on the make and model of your computer and what disks, if any, you have to hand. Please supply the information in order for the forum to help you.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hi xxlakxx,

As rightly suggested by "Derek", provide us more information on what you want to do with the system.

Is that you want to restore the system to factory settings or you want to re-install the operating system?

To reset a Dell System to factory settings, refer to the link mentioned below:

http://dell.to/12PHD5J

If the password does not work, re-install the operating system using the link mentioned below:

Thanks & Regards

Also, as already said, we want the make and model number of your computer and what disks, if any, you have to hand.

This is needed so that we can give you the proper help required, otherwise if we just guess we are liable give incorrect advice.
