Why? do you want it to run even slower? Basic doesn't support themes, that is by M$ design, unless you want to use some 3rd party app?

M$ disabled themes for a reason - they're resource hogs, especially Aero. Win7 Basic is usually installed on low end systems that don't meet the requirements for "full blown" Win7. How about posting your system specs?

Really? Then you already knew that themes aren't offically supported by M$ before asking? And you already knew there are plenty of 3rd party programs available to get themes to work with Win7 Basic?
