How to make adjustment to 'Clear type text' PERMANENT ?

Specs: Win7 Ult x32, 4Gb
In both Chrome and Google Earth the font in some windows is multicoloured and hard to read. I have twice fixed it so that it looks 'normal', by adjusting 'Clear type text' in Win7 Ultimate x32, but I'd like it to STAY fixed. How to make the fix permanent ?
The TAG applies to a PC I no longer have, but EDIT does not let me change that.

Please explain the above statement.

What does your old PC have to do with current clear text settings?

Has NOTHING to do with it. I thought it would be better if the post was not incorrectly tagged.

I misunderstood your statement. I understand now.

When accessing cleartext through Control panel is your monitor properly identified?

Do you go through all the steps and then click on "finish"?
