Most Canon Vixia HF series Camcorders store video in AVCHD .mts file format that is a high definition video format. Canon Vixia HF S21, Canon HF S21 saves video in AVCHD MTS file format with MPEG-4, AVC/H.264 as video codec, and the 64GB internal flash drive enables long time video recording for more than 8 hours with Full HD 1920×1080 recording at FXP profile. It enables double slots for SD memory cards. I just have a couple of clips that I would like to edit in windows movie maker(WMM). Yet I cannot seem to import the MTS files to your desktop Windows 7. So how to get the vixia HD30 HDV canon camera to import any Canon VIXIA Video to Windows Movie Maker.

My friend recommend me to use Tenorshare video converter, but I'm not sure. It can convert the video to one of the output formats AVI, WMV, MPG. (Note: windows movie maker is best at play avi, wmv, mpg format on Windows platform)

I suggest you try the link below for help. Or at least the Digital Photo/Video forum here at CN. You are currently posting in the Windows 7 forum.
