Solved How to get back lost toolbar for fonts, sizes, colors

December 18, 2014 at 18:54:48
Specs: Windows 7, Inspiron 560 Slim-Tower
I have Win7, WLMail,

I lost the toolbar with fonts, colors, etc. across the top. I must've click in the wrong spot. But I tried and tried to get it back with no result. I searched Google but it didn't understand the short question like: "Lost fonts, sizes, colors toolbar in Win7 how to get back?" and all results were only about changing the fonts.

Will appreciate a lot any help.

Have you left & right clicked in the top left hand corner?

✔ Best Answer
Go to the compose (new email) screen.

Along the top you should see 'Message' 'Insert' 'Options'. Right click anywhere in the space to the right of the word 'Options' and un-check "Minimize the Ribbon" (or just use the Alt+n keys).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thank you John, but I don't understand your instructions. What I did before I requested help here, was to click in the space at the toolbar across the top of my screen hoping it would give me a list of the functions, but didn't.

Is it possible to clarify your instructions to me? Thanks again.

Hi Derek and thank you, I followed your instructions and saw these 2 lines:

Show Quick Access Toolbar below the ribbon
and
Minimize Ribbon

without a box for checking, so I just clicked on the first line above and lo and behold my toolbar reappeared. THANK YOU!!!

Glad to hear it is back. The exact details depend on whether you are using WLM 2011 or 2012 etc., but they are very similar, just minor usage differences.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
