Specs: dell inspiron 1720
what means file header checksum does not match the computed checksum, i tried to turn off eating happen, I disconnected and took out the battery, nothing happen

The cmos battery probably needs to be replaced.

Remember... remove all power into the laptop - both mains adapter power and the (main) battery, before going inside the laptop.

Remove your ram/memory, clean the contacts with a hard pencil eraser.
Put one stick back & test.

Use this if needed.
