Win 7: Directory_for Screen Savers?
Hi:
I have created an animation in Mathematica 8.0.4 and exported it as an .avi file. I want to run it as a screen saver. I was thinking that I could just drag and drop the avi file into the screen saver directory where the other screen savers are located, and set it up to run it from “Screen Saver Settings”. Is this possible? If so, how can I find the screen saver directory where I can drop the avi file?
Thanks,
Bill
Screensavers have a .SCR file extension. Look in Windows > System32 or Windows > SysWOW64
There are three folders on your hard drive that Windows will automatically scan for the presence of screensavers whenever you open the Screen Saver Settings panel: C:\Windows. C:\Windows\system32. C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (on 64-bit versions of Windows)
