I don't know that particular phone you're using but it should have
come with some software to enable you to connect it to your pc -
if not, have you checked the LG website to see if there's
anything available there?

I can't find any software for it, Windows media player doesn't recognize it, and the LG website doesn't tell me how to do it. I took it to the store I bought it from, they don't know either.

The easiest way to get ringtones to a cell phone is to text them from your e-mail unless your phone has a memory card slot and even then some phones won't let you get ringtones in using the memory card. My last phone wouldn't but my new phone does.

I am on verizon with an lg ENV3 so for me the ringtones have to be 30 seconds or less and I attach one to an e-mail and send it to then when I open the text I have the option to save and set as ringtone. You would have to see what the extension for your provider would be to text them to your phone.

I make my own ringtones using audacity but you can use any number of free sites online that will send them to your phone too.

If you have a texting plan then it goes under that and if you don't have a texting plan then it would be what ever your provider charges per text, usually 25 cents or so. You might see if you provider has a site with forums and someone can help you there. That is how I learned as there were forums on verizon to ask questions. Mary
