I am very annoyed at having to deal with the Google Chrome popup that reads "you have gone full screen". I want to know how to remove "chrome" and return to the earlier version of Google.
You won't get the pop-up unless you use the full-screen function - usually by pressing F11 or on older versions it can also be done by going through 'settings'. The full-screen function has been in Chrome since it was first produced, as far as I recall. You simply use the F11 key again to get out of full screen mode. Incidentally the browser has always been called 'Chrome' - 'Google is the search engine company that developed the browser so you cannot 'return' to Google', they are different things.

Uninstall it and use Firefox instead. Or live with it. Old versions of browsers (if you can get them) are too open to attacks, that (as well as the 'look') is why the update (most updates are for security and stability). You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
