how to delete the hiden hdd space

Specs: Window 7, Core 2 duo 2.66
This is the problem that i always want to ask first! My hdd space sometime it lost like 500g lost to 490g it's terrible to me! and i used a lot of tools to get rid of it but it still didn't work! and i only know that the tools said have hidden space in my hdd but i don't know how to delete it and my friend tell me to copy all the file out and format it but i don't have internal hdd and time!

if you have a hidden partition it will probably be the factory reset partition, which if you delete will lose the ability to reset your machine to the factory setup from the day you bought it.
however 500 gig is excessive for this.
right click on "computer/manage/disk management/ and you will see how your drive is setup each partition, if its blue its a working partition if its brown its free space that can be added to another partition or create a new partition. if its blue but you cannot see it in my computer then it probably require a letter assigned to it, right click on the partition and give it a name and letter this should bring it back into the fold.

it maybe that you also have a lot of backup/hib/or windows written files are deleted by windows with its standard disk clean up process that happen in the background.

Hi and thanks for your advise after i saw your reply i do as you said i change the partition name and it's work!:) but it will assign it again right?
