how to create unallocated disk space to free space ..

Specs: Windows 7, 4 gb
I have 654 GB space in c . and when i extend it into another drive it shows unallocated disk . when i tried to make a new drive throuh new simple volume it show an error "you cannot create a new volume in this unallocated space because the disk already contain the maxximum number of partition "

A hard disk can only contain four partition. They can be either four primary partitions or three primary partitions and one extended partition. An expended partition can contain as many logical drives as there is space and drive letters to accommodate them.

The only partition you can extend into the unallocated space is the last one in the partition tablet. If you want to extend any other partition you need to move existing partitions into the unallocated space until the space is immediately after the partition you want to extend. To do that you will need some third party software like partition magic.
