how to convert .lnk files to .exe
i downloaded a bluetooth adapter software a few days back.. i opened it with ms word but now all the files have gotten converted to .lnk file type do i convert it back to .exe?????

You may try to do a system restore to a time before your problem happened.

Whatever you tried to accomplish by opening exe files in word, it's absolutely dangerous and will corrupt the exe file, when saving it from within word.
This is because you may lose special characters, that will not be saved correctly from within MS Word.

I bet, the original exe files are still there.
Do a rightclick at the lnk file, choose properties and click the "Find target" button.
This should direct you to the original exe file.

If this is correct, you simply can delete all the .lnk files, generated by MS Word, for that files.
