Click on Help in IE9 or F1 & type in > Toolbar, then click on the search button.

!: Customize the Internet Explorer toolbars

See if it is in there, what you want to do.

Thanks John but just do not see anything there for my problem. Problem is that all text in the toolbars are very small. When I hit F1 and get to the search field the text is very small and have a hard time entering the "toolbar" search name. Text inside the window itself is fine and can change that through the view tab in the toolbar. The text for "View" is also small... Trying to find the way to enlarge the text inj the toolbars and command bar...

Why it suddenly happened is a concern wlperk, we will assume you are not infected at this stage. Here are some links I got from googling.

This article describes how to reinstall or to repair Windows Internet Explorer in Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP. You may have to do this if you have problems with Internet Explorer because of damaged files or missing registration information.

Do not think it is internet explorer anymore that may be causing the problem. Just realized that all the text in the start menu (for shutdown function) is also now very small text yet the windows are OK. Also text at the top of an App(IE: quicken) is also small. Rest of app text is OK....Strange and points me now to a windows 7 setting problem??.

Now you do some research for font & text, either in Help and Support on your computer, or Google.
