how to change a WAV fille to a ZIP file

Specs: Windows 7
I have a flash drive with a WAV file on it and i want to email the WAV fiole but it's too big, how can i depress or delete some of the containts on the WAV file in order to email it.

right click file and send to/compressed folder

you would zip the file to then send it. google pkzip free download. the folks on the other end need the same program to unzip. FYI

You might be better off converting it to an mp3 file. Wave files don't compress well with zip, most likely you wont even reduce the file size by half. With an mp3 at 128 Kbps you can reduce it down by 1/12 the original size.

I agree that one may wish to send a file as a zip. Some email clients or companies stop some files.

I tend to make a compressed folder on my desktop. Use right click and create new compressed folder. Then I drag and drop but that is me. The send to ought to work fine also.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
