how entries to delete registry entries for specific word

April 19, 2012 at 20:31:45
Specs: Windows 7, Intel Core I3/ 4GB
I had uninstalled Nero 9 with Nero Clean Tool. Later I installed Nero 9. When Nero 9 was clicked from icon of deskttop, it gave error as "FATAL ERROR". Which means all entries were not removed by Nero Clean Tool. Hence I wish to remove all entries pertaining to word "Nero" from Registry. HOW TO REMOVE ALL ENTRIES with word "NERO" in one strock? Is there any software which achives this goal?

"it gave error as "FATAL ERROR". Which means all entries were not removed by Nero Clean Tool"

Since you've re-installed Nero 9 after using the Nero Clean Tool, the Registry will of course have Nero entries in it again, exactly the same entries as before. (Just carefully think about it and you'll understand what I mean).

"Fatal Error" could mean anything, not necessarily a registry problem.

1. Test the system hard drive: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm...
2. Test the RAM: http://www.memtest.org/
3. Run Windows Error Checker on the system hard drive.
