Solved How do I update my tuneup definitions with System Mechanic?

Specs: Windows Vista
Keep getting notices from System Mechanic that my tuneup definitions are out of date. I don't know how to do this.Could you tell me what I need to do to correct this problem?

The best thing to do with System Mechanic is to delete it and have nothing at all to do with it.

System Mechanic will do no more than the built in tools that Windows has will do, the only difference is the windows will do it better without any added cost to you.

Most of the utilities that claim to "tune up your PC" and make it run faster are little more than scam and in some cases, dangerous. Best leave them alone.

I agree with Stuart. Uninstall System Mechanic, reboot, then run a full scan for viruses & malware (from Safe Mode).
