I bought my computer in 2009/2010 and since it has slowed considerably I would like to speed my computer up, I play games and do a lot of pictures editing and storing in which I have an external drive to store most of my photos. I also have a lot of music, I love music. Can I add a memory stick, if so what do I get? How do I install it or go about doing that and how much can I add? Is there something that will add to my audio/video quality? My base score is 4.1, I would like to increase that.
Is disk cleanup and defrag important to perform regularily?
Some more RAM might help but before that I would suggest you check to see if you have too many background programs running and get some minimal level of confidence that a virus hasn't crept in. Download, install and run MalwareBytes freebie:

As this often finds and fixes what AV's miss it can be a good quick gauge as to whether you might have a virus issue to contend with.Nothing lost by running disk checks and defrag from time to time, although with modern hard disks they have to be highly fragmented for it have a noticeable effect on performance. Windows 7 has scheduled defrag set by default.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Please post your complete system specs. Being that your CPU is listed as an AMD Sempron M120, my guess is you have a laptop? And based on the weak CPU, it's can't be much good for gaming.
