Try Revo uninstaller free version, works great I have been using it for years. The app also checks registry for leftover files

Be aware that the free version of Revo Uninstaller will not run on a 64 bit machine.

This does:

Odd that you should say that Derek, I have Revo on my 64 bit Windows 10 and it works like a charm.

Maybe I should rephrase that. Let's say that "Revo only claim that the paid-for version will run on 64 bit, not the free version":
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo...

See the blue Yes/No buttons and the paragraph on the far right which says "Revo Uninstaller Free works on 32-bit versions of Windows XP...."

EDIT:
There is some doubt here that it does a complete job on 64 bit:

Derek,

I think age and failing eyesight must be catching up on me... my install is a registered Pro version and I had a) forgotten that and b) I never read your comment properly. I've had it for years and I wouldn't be without it. I must admit that the IObit uninstaller does a pretty mean job too.

Regards

I've reached the age that it is not just my eyesight that is catching up with me. Several things have already gone past.

"Here is a link for a free 64 bit version"

That appears to be a link discussing that fact that Revo free version is unsuitable for 64 bit (as per my #4).

Of-course, maybe the posters computer is 32 bit.
