Open MSCONFIG, change to BOOT tab, uncheck SAFE BOOT.

On the general tab, Normal Startup should be checked.

Type msconfig in to the Run box or Search box in the Start Menu and press <enter> key on the keyboard.

Microsoft msconfig program will open.

There are several tabs on the upper part of the msconfig window. The first tab reads General on it. There, you have several circles with descriptions besides them.

Put a mark in the circle that reads Normal startup or similar wording. If the mark is already there, do not touch it.

The second tab reads Boot. Click on it and Boot window opens. There, you have square boxes with descriptive phrases. The one with Safe Boot should have a checkmark in it. Uncheck to clear the check mark in this square box.

Click O.K.

Restart your PC.

I was wandering if you could help with one more problem. I have two windows 7 on my computer. How can I get one of them off? A guy came to fix my computer and now I have two.

Right-click Computer in Start Menu.

Click Properties.

On the left pane, click Advanced System Options.

On the window that opens, click Settings in Startup and Recovery section.

On the window that opens, uncheck to clear the checkmark in the square box that reads " Time to show Operating Systems" or decrease the time to 0 seconds.

The next time you restart your PC, you will not see the two OS on the black screen.

This operation will not delete the unused OS but will make you not see it. To delete it, you have to use the command-line executable bcdedit.exe. But this tool may be dangerous for you.
