Thank you. thought it was but with XP I had no problem. Always printed last page first. Now I have a Win.7 - it is reverse.. Hard to figure why.

what program are you wanting to print from? if you click on the windows logo and then select devices and printers. Then right click on the default printer (the one with the tick beside it). Then click printer preference and in Page order click on the scroll down arrow and choose front to back or back to front and then you should have the order you want.

You are welcome. Happy reverse printing. Incidentally in MS WORD you can change the order of printing of pages as well. That was why I asked what you were printing with. I know how to do it in MS WORD 2007 so I guess it can be done in other versions too.

Good Morning Helmut:

Is reverse printing different than what you explained to me in MS Word ?
Appreciate your wisdom on this if so. Thanks again for helping me out

If you change it in the printers window, you will change your default settings and it will work with all programs/all printing. Setting it while in a word document will set it for that printing and possibly for that document (but it typically will not remember printer settings after you close word).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.

Hello Doe,

The original comments I made change the printer settings and should affect printing order regardless of what you are printing from. In MS Word 2007 you can do the following:
1. Click on the Office button top left of screen
2. Click on Word Options at the bottom right of the pop up window
3. In the left hand margin select Advanced
4. Scroll down to the Print sction in the right hand pane
5. Check or uncheck the third option "print pages in reverse order"

In Word 2003 there must be something similar but I don't have a copy of it so I can't check and advise.

Glad to be of help

Hello again Helmut:

One more question re my reverse printing. Works fine, but have to change it every time. Is there no way one can make back to front printing the pages permanent ?

Hello Doe,

I had a feeling that if you follow what I said in my first post (ie printer preferences etc) that the change would be permanent but maybe I am wrong. If it is not permanent then I am not sure how to make it so.
