Specs: Windows 7
Up until last week all pdf files were fine. Now I am not able to open any of them. Keep getting the same error "Adobe Reader cannot open *.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged..." however I find it hard to believe that all of the sudden all pdf files are damaged.

I agree it sounds unlikely that all of your pdf files have suddenly corrupted.

"Uninstall Adobe Reader from Control Panel > Programs and features".
Re- install from here:

If you still have trouble uninstall Adobe Reader again and try "Foxit Reader" (free version) which is as good as Adobe for everyday use - many prefer it:

If you still have problems then come back and we can take it further.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
