I want to remove a password on my hdd I don't know the password I don't remember putting one on the hard drive

You need to contact Toshiba and be prepared to prove ownership.
Laptop HD passwords are a security measure and are not normally removable without manufacturers aid.

I agree with response #1...without that password protection, people would be stealing tons of more laptops, it's just another way to deter thefts

Many people forgot Windows 7 login password. I have found a tutorial from Wikihow, you can follow, How to reset Windows 7 password
