how do I remove a win32:trojan-gen on a cd

Specs: Windows 7
my avast detects a win32:trojan-gen on my cd/dvd game.
How do you remove it from the cd/dvd?
it's a really old game from 2007.

false positive maby?

try uploading the .exe file to

see if more that 1 antivirus detects the trojan

As mentioned, it's likely a false-positive---especially if it's a "commercial" CD. Having said that, if it isn't commercial there's a possibility that it was burned to the disk residing inside one of the game files. If the disk is finalized, there's no removing it.
