I have duplicate apps on my laptop. I downloaded an app for maps and I guess I must have downloaded it twice. How do I remove one of the apps?
Most applications have a default installation path. Therefore, if you install it again using the same path, it simply overwrites the previous installation. In that event, there is still only one copy installed. The only way you can have two identical copies installed is if you change the default installation path at the start of the setup/installation procedure.
Have you some evidence that it is really duplicated? If you have two desktop icons, see if their targets are the same.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
