Which e-mail client are you trying to set up?

Default email just means that you have at least one email program installed on your computer and that one of them is designated as default. This does not work for webmail clients (unless the person trying to shout back and is correct AND has a crystal ball and knows if you are using Yahoo) typically. For Hotmail, Gmail and others like it, unless they have a POP3 option, you must use the webmail, but if you are using an email account from your ISP like Verizon, ATT, Your cable company, etc. you always have the choice to use the webmail or a pop3 mail account and program. You would use Windows Live Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, MS Outlook, etc. as your program (the first 2 are free downloads). I hope that this helps you understand.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
