How do I print from a wireless laptop?

Specs: Windows 7
Hello , I have a desktop that is connected to a wireless router, and a printer that is not wireless. I have other wireless laptops in the house and would like to be able to print from them, Do I need to go buy a wireless printer? and if so Will I be able to print from any other wireless laptop in the house?

1. you can connect the printer to the desktop and use file and printer sharing, to be able to print from the laptop.

2. if you're using a wireless printer and it's configured correctly, to connect to the wireless router, your can print from every computer connected to the router, even by wire or wirelessly.

The printer is not wireless, it is wired to the desktop.

Connect the printer to one of your computers.
Install the driver for the printer to that computer.
After that, do a rightclick on the printer choose to share the printer.

On the other computer, install a new network printer.
Browse for the printer, select the found printer and install it.

Same reason I purchased a network printer for home a few years ago. Much simpler and you do not need to make sure that the one is on before you can print from the other.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
This site is about helping people, lets keep it that way.
