Specs: Windows 7
When I am posting, the cursor will wander off and insert my words in the wrong place! How do I change this on a new LENOVO laptop? Thanks~

I never heard of this before, but you may be touching the touch pad, or you may have the arrow keys active and they will send the cursor around at random. Experiment a little to confirm this, then check your manual for what you did to activate it and reverse and avoid it in the future.
If not, then contact tech support under your warranty.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I use a mouse with my laptop because I rarely travel with it. So....
But, I have heard from others who are having the same problem with their LENOVA laptop and have not been able to find a solution...thanks for responding.

most laptops have that problem. Like was said, you are probably touching the touchpad unknowingly.

I replaced a keyboard in an HP laptop and the problem still remained. Try a USB keyboard and a USB optical mouse to see if it makes a difference.

You can also try turning off the touchpad if you are using an external mouse. I wouldn't recommend a wireless mouse, they are more problems than anything. A wired optical is about the best.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
